Looking for a weekend that combines live music, camping and the outdoors? OppiDam Music Festival returns to Vygeboom Dam this October with a packed programme of entertainment, food and family activities.

For music lovers in or near the Lowveld looking to get away for an exiting weekend, without travelling too far, the OppiDam Music Festival at Vygeboom Dam is set to offer two days of live entertainment, family activities and camping on October 2 and 3.
Approximately an hour's drive from Barberton and Nelspruit, the festival has become a popular meeting place for music lovers, campers and families wanting to enjoy a relaxed weekend outdoors.
The programme features a strong line-up of South African artists, including Nicholis Louw, Ivan Roux, Pieter Rischmüller and Band, Cinema, Narboth Mathole, Drommedaris, Freckled Elvis, Kris Ray and Coenie Naudé. The OppiDam talent competition will also provide local performers with an opportunity to showcase their abilities.
The music is only part of the weekend. Visitors can also enjoy food vendors, local stalls, family activities and a potjiekos competition, while those staying over have the option of booking accommodation or making use of the resort's caravan and camping facilities.
Whether you're catching a favourite artist, spending time with friends around a campfire or simply looking for a change of scenery, the festival offers a chance to slow the pace for a couple of days before the busy end-of-year season begins.
Accommodation is limited and early booking is recommended for those planning to stay for the weekend.
